DC1500 Automove
This is a small program that moves or copies data from a digital camera.
It only works with cameras that are detected as removable drives and thus have the autoplay feature.
When such a drive (camera) is connected you get prompted to choose the autoplay handler for this type of drive.
To be able to choose DC1500 Automove as the autoplay handler for your drive you have to add your own autoplay handler using TweakUI.
Things you'll need:
DC1500 Automove
TweakUI
Get it running
Download and unzip DC1500 Automove to a suitable folder. The zipfile contains the executable
(dc1500_automove.exe) and a settings file (dc1500_settings.txt).
The settings file look like this:
target: "C:\camera"
source: "DCIM\100_BENQ"
separate images and videos: 1
remove files from camera: 1
last connect: "2003-05-30 14:37:55"
Explanation of fields:
target: the folder to which the data from the camera will be moved
source: the folder om the camera where the data is located
separate images and videos: set to 1 if you want to separate images (JPG) and videos (AVI) to different folders, otherwise set to 0
remove files from camera: set to 1 if you want remove the data from the camera after it has been transfered to the computer, otherwise set to 0
last connect: used by the program to keep track of when you last connected the camera, this will be altered each time you connect the camera
Alter the settings file to match your setup.
Download, install and start TweakUI.
Select autoplay handles as shown below:
Click create, choose dc1500_autoplay.exe by clicking "Change Program..." and then enter the values as shown below (only the %L is important):
Click OK a couple of times and exit TweakUI.
Now plug in your camera and choose the handler you just added from the autoplay prompt that pops up.
You can check "Allways use this..." if you don't want to choose handler each time you plug in your camera
